“The 100 Percent Doula Program will pay you back in spades”

I first met Alice at the DONA conference in Seattle, where I ended up signing up for her business workshop at the last minute. It had been an add-on to the conference, and I had taken other doula business workshops as well, so I hadn’t been sure I wanted to make the additional investment. I was so glad I did! She gave us so many new ideas for improving our businesses, and most importantly, she gave hands-on, actionable, take-home ideas, tips, and tricks. I signed up for the 100% Doula membership when it opened up a few months later after some more great (free!) content and awesome marketing that I admired. Again, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make another investment, but I soon found out that it would pay off quickly. In addition to the practical ideas for change I could make immediately, the program helped lay out many of the aspects of running my business that I hadn’t thought through enough on my own. It pushed me to get creative about improving my services, marketing, networking, branding, and to dig in to the tough stuff: taxes and the law. The community of the Facebook group is invaluable, and it’s awesome to see birth workers growing their businesses, sharing their wins, and supporting each other through struggles. The webinars add even more great content, as well as a place to connect. The amazing thing is, it is clear that the program is helpful for brand new doulas, experienced doulas, doulas working on their own or in groups, those who train doulas, and other birth workers. The program is very accessible and doable, and will pay you back in spades.
